The Victimology Society of Serbia (VDS) organized the round table
entitled: From Prison To A Life Without Violence: Human Rights of Women
In Prison, on Thursday 26th January 2012 in Belgrade.
The round table was organized on the occasion of one year of the
realization of the project: Promoting respect for human rights of
women in prison – Advocacy for battered women who commit crime. It
aims to present the results of the previous activities on the project
and its importance for the social integration of women victims of
violence who are in prison.
The round table was opened by the President of National Assembly of the
Republic of Serbia Mrs Slavica Djukic- Dejanovic.
